It is intended to provide teachers with information that they can use to plan instruction to meet students' needs. The assessment takes approximately one hour per content area for students to complete.
Students in grades 4-8, who would take the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA), will participate in the Start Strong statewide assessment on the schedule provided below.
